Description

Another issue that gets brought up often among Pilates teachers is Sacroiliac Joint Instability. The issue here is that what your clients with SI instability feel like they want is often very different from what they need, which is more work on stability and less stretching.

Today I review the anatomy of the SI Joint, why instability happens, how the symptoms can mimic other back issues (so a medical diagnosis is important), and what to do about it. Hopefully this will help you and your clients!
