The NHL announced the salary cap for the upcoming season this past weekend, and it's slightly higher, by about $300k than originally projected. The cap will be $88-million this season, an increased of $4.5 million. The Golden Knights could use some of the additional cap money to pay UFA Jonathan Marchessault, if it so chooses. The team is cap-strapped currently. We also talk about the LTIR rules and whether GM's believe there should be a change. We talk Stanley Cup playoffs and the return of International Hockey rather than an all-star game.
