Our Chris Gawlik reports on VGK's Captain's Skate at City National. He tells us Jonathan Marchessault was the only frontline player that hasn't reported yet. He showed us video of Jack Eichel doing drills and he told us that Eichel has been skating with Pavel Dorofeyev a lot and working with him on some drills. Max Comtois has impressed Chris so far. And, Phil Kessel, who Chris said could wind up in Minnesota, came out for a friendly skate. The goalie competition began officially with Logan Thompson battling Adin Hill hard in practice.
