Amid the departure of Reilly Smith and Jonathan Marchessault moving to the top line, this will be the first time in seven seasons that William Karlsson will not be opening a campaign with his Misfit friends by his side. That could prompt VGK and Bruce Cassidy to move Karlsson to a newly formed third line with Paul Cotter and Michael Amadio for starters or other players could move onto that line. It appears that the Stephenson-Stone-Howden line could be line two heading into the season. But there is definitely concern about the third line and how it will look this upcoming season.
