The Golden Knights faced a hot goalie in Jordan Bennington Monday night in a 2-1 OT loss to the visiting St. Louis Blues. Bennington made several spectacular saves - he made 20 of 20 high danger stops. The only VGK goal came off the stick of Jack Eichel. He scored his 11th goal of the season and continues to score consistantly every game. But it might have been Eichel's gamble in OT that cost the VGK. He thought there was going to be a turnover on the GWG and began to head up ice as Pavel Buchnevich regained the puck and scored the game winner. VGK's goalie Logan Thompson was again the victim of lack of goal support. He has a 6-3-2 record and his team has been shutout twice and scored one goal last night during a stretch in which he has lost six of eight games.
