They are just starting to penetrate the hockey world, but this season in the NFL, players will be allowed to wear these protective caps in games. The NHL reports 80 concussions a season on the average. Wearing these protective caps in the NFL would lead to an estimated 50% decrease in concussions. We discussed wearing Guardian Caps in youth hockey. Several college hockey programs have inquired about wearing Guardian Caps. And, there have been a few discussion with NHL teams according to the Guardian reps.
