Adin Hill stopped 28 shots and Ivan Barbeshev's first period goal was the only marker of the game as VGK shut out Edmonton 1-0 at the Fortress Tuesday night. Barbeshev scored on a 2-on-1 beating Stuart Skinner at 10:47 of the first period. That was the lone penalty in the game and neither team committed a penalty in the contest. Credit the VGK defense which played in waves in the contest. The Golden Knights withstood a third period push by Edmonton that saw the Oilers holding the puck for long periods in its offensive zone. Hill, who is expected to make the Four Nations roster today, was superb in net, making several big stops when the Golden Knights needed them. We preview tonight's VGK-Anaheim game and have our Locks and Predictions.
