The Nashville Predators announced Jonathan Marchessault inked a five-year contract, not much after the free agency window opened Monday morning. Marchessault was an unrestricted free agent for VGK. He signed for an AAV of $5.5-million a year. The Predators also signed VGK target Steven Stamkos, the former Lightning Captain, and defenseman Brady Skjei. Marchessault's departure sent shockwaves to VGK fans. Marchessault was quoted as saying that he didn't feel VGK tried its best to keep him. VGK also lost center Chandler Stephenson, Michael Amadio, Alec Martinez, William Carrier, Paul Cotter, Logan Thompson, Anthony Mantha and Jiri Patera over the past few days. We are wondering what VGK's nex moves might be.
