There will be a lot of fanfare for the Golden Knights leading into tonight's opener against the Seattle Kraken. VGK will walk the Gold Carpet starting at 3:30pm in front of T-Mobile Arena. In advance of the 7:30pm(ish) puck drop there will also be a banner raising ceremony for the Cup Champions. On Monday night, VGK lit the Al Davis torch and the appearance revealed the injuries of Zach Whitecloud (cast on left hand, fingers, wrist) and Alec Martinez had a sling for his left shoulder. The Golden Knights defensive pairings will be affected with Nic Hague taking Martinez' spot and Ben Hutton will play on the third line with Brayden Puhal.
