The Golden Knights started off the road trip with a 2-1 loss in Philadelphia to the Flyers, who have now won just five games since the start of the calendar year. The Golden Knights were able to reel off 48 shots on goal, but only one went in - a power play goal by Evgeny Dadonov. Philadelphia took a 2-0 lead and went into a defensive shell. Robin Lehner let up two soft goals - one from the point inside the blue line on the Flyers first shot of the game by Justin Braun and the second was a wraparound goal by Oskar Lindblom. The Golden Knights are still a bit too tentative on their shots, Jack Eichel isn't. He had 9 shots on goal and teammate Max Pacioretty had 7 shots for the top line. The Golden Knights now travel to Buffalo to meet the Sabres Thursday night.
