The Golden Knights will face a different Toronto Maple Leafs team than the club they beat at T-Mobile 3-1 earlier this season. The VGK played well defensively in the first meeting and limited Toronto to just 23 shots on goal. Sheldon Keefe, the Maple Leafs head coach was on the hot seat a week ago, before going on a current three-game win streak in which they beat Boston and Carolina. Keefe has juggled his bottom six and it has proven to be successful. We should see inexperienced goalie Erik Kallgren in net for Toronto tonight against Logan Thompson of VGK. The Maple Leafs have a variety of injuries with their goaltenders. Ilya Samsonov was hurt last week defending a Brad Marchand penalty shot, and Matt Murray is coming off the shelf soon. We also discuss VGK's special teams, which have improved on the road tour. And, we talk about the issues with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL), who are off to a 2-8 start.
