The Golden Knights squandered a four goal lead, but hung on late as the defense came up big to preserve a 5-4 road win in Ottawa. The Golden Knights chased starting goal Anton Forsberg, but Cam Talbot came on in his first appearance as a Senator and kept the Sens in the game. Mark Stone had a goal and an assist in the contest for VGK. The Golden Knights defense wasn't as stout as it has been allowing four goals for the first time this season. And, Logan Thompson had to turn away 42 shots in the process. William Carrier netted the game winner for the Golden Knights off a Alex DeBrincat turnover. VGK took the train to Montreal following the game where they meet the surprising Canadians Saturday. We can expect to see Adin Hill between the pipes in that game.
