The Vegas Golden Knights entertain former head coach Gerard Gallant and his New York Rangers at the Fortress Wednesday night. This will be a battle of two teams that cannot hang on to a lead. The Rangers have blown leads seven times in the past month plus and VGK has blown leads in 9 of 27 games. The Rangers Chris Kreider said it best when he said that every game is a must-win for the Blueshirts because the team has been slumping and has won just two of its last seven games. Gallant has been blenderizing his lineups a lot and he has had difficulty finding the right chemistry. It should be a good battle between goalies Igor Shesterkin and VGK's Logan Thompson. We also talked about which VGK player or celebrity would be best to read a lineup card for the team in the locker room. Who do we think would get this team fired up? As of press time, it is uncertain if Jack Eichel (leg injury) will be able to play in the game. Alex Pietrangelo has been out due to personal reasons and the team is not certain when he will be back. The Golden Knights have had success on the road but have lost the last two games when they returned to home ice.
