VGK was shut out for the second time in four road games on this trip, suffering another 3-0 loss - this time in Pittsburgh. VGK seemed to offer little resistance after being down 2-0 after two periods. Ryan Graves and Noel Acciari scored their first goals of the season for the Flyers in the loss. VGK had chances but couldn't convert. Jack Eichel hit the crossbar and Jonathan Marchessault showed some frustration after missing the net on six shots. VGK scored just 1 point over the weekend in the back-to-back. On Saturday they lost to the Flyers 4-3 in overtime. Marchessault did have a pair of goals in the loss.
