Since Ohio's gun season just closed, we couldn't think of a better time to discuss cooking and eating wild game! So on this episode of the Ohio Huntsman Podcast, Jason and Jacob discuss some of their favorite ways to prepare venison, wild turkey, squirrels, and doves. We like things that can be quickly thrown together after work, dropped in a slow cooker, or prepped ahead of time so those are the types of recipes we gravitate towards. We discuss resources where you can find good wild game recipes as well as some of our favorite wild game cookbooks. We also discuss some of the cuts that often get left behind like the heart, the liver, and deer ribs. Enjoy!
