Description

Team Tamarindo is adjusting to the #physicaldistancing with a remote episode reflecting on what this moment means to Brenda and Ana Sheila and how they are coping with #covid. We share some of the creatives that are helping us find lightness during these dark times, as well as some great resources for information, and causes to support. We also take some time to celebrate our one year #anniversary and four years of #TamarindoPodcast.  For some fun creatives we’re enjoying, check out these accounts on instagram: @Latinaswhobrunch  @theharrylopez  @thecesarcamacho @marcellacomedy  For resources for immigrant communities, check out United We Dream and specifically how #undocumented folks can access health care.

We also find the information by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to be useful. For news, we've been liking the coverage of the LA Times and Tamarindo favorite, LA Taco.  Here is a template you can use if you would like to request a rent freeze.  For a worthy cause providing direct cash relief for #streetvendors in Los Angeles, please consider donating to Inclusive Action for the City’s fund. To help the #seniors in your community, you can support Meal on Wheels or sign-up to volunteer.
