Broadcasting from the 25th White Privilege Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this April 2024 dialogue centers on Dante’s direct confrontation of white supremacy and the backlash he faces for his unapologetic stance about the complexities of Black identity, the inherent anti-Blackness in white standards, and the psychological warfare against Black people. Adding to the richness of the discussion is, the legendary poet Jessica Care Moore who joins to share her experiences growing up in Detroit, dealing with anti-Black institutional pressures, and her revolutionary work in poetry and Black publishing with reflections on navigating cancel culture, fostering Black family liberation, and the importance of building lasting Black institutions
