This week, Cory and Cody welcome their first official guest on the show as they sit down with former congressman and longtime educator Jamaal Bowman, Ed.D, to discuss a variety of issues from dark money in politics to the current state of the Democratic Party. Bowman served as the representative of New York's 16th U.S. House district for four years between 2021 and 2025 before losing his primary race in 2024. His loss has been attributed to his steadfast support of Palestinian human rights and his stark criticism of the state of Israel after their widespread bombing campaign against the people in Gaza following the October 7 attacks by Hamas. Bowman doesn't regret his support for the Palestinian cause, and in this episode he speaks at length about what he learned from his years in Congress and what he plans to do next.
