Too Often performers obsess over the size of the crowd. Before they even set foot on
stage we are concerned that not enough people showed up. Our whole career comes to
grinding halt because only 15 people are here to see us perform.
What is wrong with that?
It's completely absurd to believe that a small crowd does not deserve a big performance. They came, isn’t that what counts. We spend so much effort wondering why or who’s fault it is instead of preparing to perform the show of our lives. We keep count of the people that aren’t there instead of focusing on the few that are. Do they not deserve a phenomenal show? After all they showed up when no one else did. If anything they should be treated better than a larger crowd. We should stay focused on giving our best performance even when the crowd is small. You really never know who is in that crowd.
