The Oregon Ducks got back on track in week two with a commanding 70-14 win over the Eastern Washington Eagles of the FCS ranks. Bo Nix shined at quarterback, becoming the first Duck to throw five touchdowns since Justin Herbert. Oregon's run game dominated Eastern Washington's defense and continues to be a running back by committee. The wide receivers and tight ends stepped up in a big way, led by Troy Franklin and Terrance Ferguson.
On defense the Ducks didn't get as much pressure on Gunner Talkington as expected, but they were able to force two turnovers and pick up two sacks. A lot of young players got much needed developmental reps in the first win of the Dan Lanning era.
