Rhonda was born in Colorado Springs and was adopted by her parents, Ron and Kay Cleaver, less than two weeks after her birth. She grew up in Boulder, Colorado and moved to Greeley with her family after high school. It was there that she met Mark Timbrook through a singing group in Greeley. Rhonda and Mark were married in December, 1991. They started a family right away with Jordan, their first born in 1992, then Brady in 1994, and Noah in 1998.
The family moved to Louisville, Kentucky in 1995 and lived there for seventeen years. They moved back to Colorado in 2012, which is where her heart always was.
Rhonda’s love and passion for her husband and her three boys was always evident. The three boys are all very different but where loved all equally by her. Rhonda is very proud of her boys and all that they have done and the lives that they have touched.
Rhonda enjoyed traveling, cruises, hiking, '80s music, and hockey. Her newest enjoyment was riding ATV’s in the Colorado mountains.
Rhonda worked with the children’s ministry at Newsong Foursquare Church in Colorado Springs. Working with children in ministry was a deep-rooted passion for her that was obvious to those she served while in this role.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; their three boys, Jordan, Brady, and Noah; her parents, Ron and Kay Cleaver; and her brother, Joel (Kyndra) Cleaver; father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Marian Timbrook, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kathy and Randy Olsson, many, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she all loved very much.
A Celebration of Rhonda's Life will be held at 10:30AM, Saturday, April 14, 2018, Colorado Springs Christian School Auditorium, 4845 Mallow Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907.
