Peter Orullian is an American rock musician and author. As a lead vocalist and songwriter, he has collaborated with some of the top names in heavy metal, and now he has teamed up with one of the world's leading fantasy authors, Brandon Sanderson, to create a stunning new trilogy, The Strata Wars.
The first novel, Songs of the Dead, witnesses struggling rock musician Jack Solomon return from the dead after being murdered. In his new reality, he sees that the London he inhabits is merely the top layer overlying many strata, each containing a past era. The souls of the dead can pass between them, but only under the stewardship of a type of necromancer, a powerful sect of whom are bent on raising the dead against the living.
In a race against time, Jack must learn to harness the power of music and light to stop the past from taking over the future.
Join Peter and Red as they explore the power of music to affect and express our emotions, and our tendency to play fast and loose with history.
