McKeesport Little Theater is heading down to Squid Row!
Director Jeff Boles, and actors Johnny and Carina Terreri, talk about their upcoming production of "Little Shop of Horrors". They talk about the story of an assistant at a floral shop that cultivates a man-eating plant, named after his crush of course. Jeff highlights the wonderful music in this musical, written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, the same duo behind Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. Carina talks about the similarities in the music with Little Mermaid, and the fun they have on stage.
All three emphasize the small community built at McKeesport Little Theater, and talk about their next shows for South Park Theatre in the summer.
You can see "Little Shop of Horrors" at McKeesport Little Theater from May 9th to 18th. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students.
