Last week I sent a challenge to the Mary Queen Community to stretch and challenge themselves during Lent. Lent is a time that the Church sets apart in order for each Catholic to get closer to God in anticipation of the Easter Season. Throughout this podcast, I discuss the benefits of a self imposed challenges. They actually have a curative property. When we stretch ourselves in order rid ourselves of a vice, or in order to build new habits and virtues we actually become more free and closer to the person the God is calling us to be. Enjoy the podcast. The Monk and The Meathead is a production of Mary Queen of Peace Parish
