Shaquera Robinson is a mother of three. She graduated Suma Cum Laude from Rasmussen University, class of ’21, with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, where she is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Health. In 2004, Shaquera graduated as the President of the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program at Bay State College where she received her Associate’s Degree. Shaquera’s background in education expands over 20 years from the roles and responsibilities as a primary educator, to the commitment of a dedicated team player, where her leadership roles have earned her the parent-partnership recognition awards. As a transformational influence amongst her peers and colleagues, Shaquera is a visionary, a motivational speaker and an educator across academic and public sectors. Activism and advocacy for victims and survivors of domestic violence (DV) abuse are two of the many hats worn by Robinson. Known for her optimism and charisma, friends would say that despite her lived experiences with sexual assault (SA) and DV, she is a beacon of hope and positivity to those surviving the horrors of domestic violence. These experiences qualify her as an expert in the domestic violence pandemic that plagues communities around the world. As an activist, Shaquera Robinson has answered the call to disrupt the cycles of domestic abuse through Shaquera’s Story Domestic Violence Consulting & Coaching. As the CEO/Founder and Executive Director, Robinson and her team are committed to working with victims and survivors at every point in the legal system, seeking justice for those whose lives are impacted by DV. Shaquera serves as an active member of the Massachusetts Protected at Work Coalition, an act relative to employment protections for victims of abusive behaviors, and The Child Support Choice Coalition, an act to further family-centered child support. Shaquera sits on the steering committee for the Lower Roxbury Coalition Wellness Initiative, where she collaborates with the director and other community partners to foster wrap-around services for the well-being of families and children. As a consultant to community organizations such as Bryce’s Journey, Follow Suit, The Lower Roxbury Coalition Wellness Initiative, Love Your Menses, and the Mimi Movement, Shaquera lifts others up with her powerful voice. She has researched and implemented domestic violence awareness trainings and workshops and left a lasting impression on the communities she served. From her political campaign volunteerism to her work to create safe spaces for families in crisis and outreach initiatives providing cost-free back school supplies for children, she has worked to transform anti-black systems by removing community silos and encouraging collaboration. Shaquera’s accomplishments in community engagements include volunteering on Massachusetts (MA) District Attorney campaign for Racheal Rollins, the MA City Councilor At-Large campaign for Julia Mejia (two terms), Mayor of Boston campaign for City Councilor Andrea Campbell, MA Attorney General campaign for City Councilor Andrea Campbell, State Senate campaign for State Representative Liz Miranda (MA), State Senate campaign for State Representative Nika Elugardo (MA). Shaquera Robinson organizes, researches, and facilitates DV impacts on young children for Boston CASA and their special court-appointed advocate trainees. Shaquera Robinson is a leader, an influencer, and a force to be reckoned with. Shaquera is currently adding the title author to her name, as she is in the works of pursuing domestic violence education attainment through her line of children and adult literature. Shaquera’s mantra is “We all We got”, as she continues to break generational trauma by supporting and coaching people living through the trauma caused by DV. By sharing her values of family and service through her everyday commitment, she continues to bring light and awareness to the crisis of domestic violence.
