Shayy Winn has an acute love and a compelling passion for music. Born in Chesterfield VA in 2000. As a child often falling asleep to music, and now as a young adult she is perfecting her sound calling to resurrect sentiment in song. She thrives on making audiences feel what she is singing. Before American Idol, Shayy was performing and impressing audiences with her eloquent voice. Initially uncomfortable with the attention. Shayy soon became the draw, often singing at school games and Virginia’s community events. She became an emerging local talent which allowed her to appear in several local magazines and newspapers.
In 2017, Shayy lost her vision due to an unknown brain tumor. This did not stop her from continuing her passions.
As an American Idol 2019 contestant, Shayy’s televised audition captured millions of people and she was able to touch the hearts and inspire so many around the nation. She auditioned to show others just like her, that despite any disability, “You Can Accomplish Your Dreams”, you may have to try harder or do it differently, but “You Can Do It”!
Shayy Winn has now released four singles “Energy”, DND” (Do Not Disturb) “Addicted” and “Crazy”, which can be found on mostly all digital platforms.
She is featured on 2 songs “Rock About Baby Remix” by a Liberian Artist named LDrez and
“God’s Gives Blessings” by J Dollar She is currently working on her EP; which she hopes to release soon.
