Thousands of San Diegans headed to our local beaches to celebrate 4th of July, as all San Diego beach parking lots reached capacity a little bit after 10:30 yesterday morning. An excessive heat warning is in effect today for San Diego's inland valleys and mountain communities. This weekend, those serving in the U.S. military can adopt a pet at a reduced cost, courtesy of the Helen Woodward's Paws for Patriots Event.
