Neighbors in some of San Diego's hardest hit communities are still picking up the pieces today after devastating flooding washed through their neighborhood. Communities that suffered similar issues in 2017 are now pushing the city for permanent solutions. Crews are working on Chohllas Creek to clear debris ahead of another potential rain storm. San Diego officials are urging community members to prepare for the next rain storm by stocking up on sandbags. A full list of sandbag distribution sites can be found on NBC7.com.
