Meet Heather Conn
Heather is the author of five books, including the incest memoir No Letter In Your Pocket: How a daughter chose love and forgiveness to heal from incest. Dr. Bernie Siegel wrote the afterword. She has written for more than 50 publications and about a half-dozen anthologies. Heather has taught professional writing full-time at Selkirk College in British Columbia and a variety of post-secondary venues. She successfully coaches authors on writing memoirs about their trauma which helps them unleash their pain and give a voice to their story while also helping the reader feel a little less alone in their challenges! She has hosted the US webinar Trauma and Truthtelling in Memoir: The Risks and Rewards of Revealing Secrets. In addition to being a coach, she is a freelance writer and editor.
