Filmmaker Maria Juranic. She has written and directed a short film called Dreamers that uses breakdancing to explore the frustrating experience DACA recipients have with government bureaucracy. “Dreamers is a commentary on the struggle DACA recipients face to solidify their right to be in the United States. On Nov. 6, Dreamers will screen at the Red Rock Film Festival as it continues to make the festival rounds.
Film director Katie Davis is the director of this HBO special film documentary Soul of America: The Battle for Our Better Angels, film airs October 27, 2020 at 9pm (eastern) on HBO.
