The Vikings didn't put the franchise tag on Sam Darnold. That's not a shock. What is surprising is that everyone from Adam Schefter to Ian Rapoport to Jordan Schultz is all saying that they believe the Vikings and Darnold are trying to work out a short-term contract. Really?
