Laura Lawrence is an author, speaker, bodytalk practitioner and the founder of the non for profit organization Youth Matter in Melfort Saskatchewan. Last year I was lucky enough to be a guest speaker at their mental health symposium for youth. This year I recorded parts of the event for the podcast. The style of this episode is different than any other I've done. This episode an audio documentary of the event and it's founder, Laura. The event's speakers and featured guests were Dan Hern, Brad Sirosky, Ally Hrbacheck, Terrance Littletent, Crystal Greenwood, Shelley Enns, and Linsey Levendall. There were also countless volunteers, board members and sponsors that made the event a success! For more information on the Youth Matter's symposium, Teen Talk Tuesdays or when the team will be traveling and speaking again please go to www.youthmatter.ca @youth_matter_sk on Instagram.
