Mary O'Regan is a writer who was born and raised in County Cork, Ireland. After graduating from University of Limerick, she worked as a teacher and then as a journalist in London for several years. She has blogged at Mary's Blog for 15 years and had the honor of being invited to the Vatican where she held forth on the role of more traditional Catholic bloggers. Her passion is to make accessible a synthesis of the teachings of saints, stigmatists and scholars so that as many people as possible can inherit their wisdom, and hopefully their holiness and charity. She edited the memoir, Drunks and Monks, and has spent the last 7 years working on this book about St. Padre Pio. The Rosary and the Sacred Heart Novena are her favorite prayers. A social animal, she enjoys fun with her friends, fashion, stand-up comedy and reading Agatha Christie. She lives in Los Angeles, California.
