Fr. Thomas Joseph White - Fr. Thomas Joseph White is the Rector Magnificus of the Pontifical University of St. Thomas (Angelicum) in Rome.
Today Fr. Thomas tells us about his new book, Contemplation and the Cross: A Catholic Introduction to the Spiritual Life (Catholic University of America; March 2025), examines the mystery of Jesus Christ - His Crucifixion and His Resurrection - as the center of our spiritual life. Fr. White argues that the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus presents us with the essence of the Christian spiritual life and orients us toward union with the Trinity as the final aim of human existence.

Renée Roden - Today Renée shares her experience in St. Peter's square during Pope Leo XIV's election. She continues the conversation on the Vatican's Document concerning AI, ANTIQUA ET NOVA, while including what Pope Leo XIV has commented during his early papacy.
Renée Roden is a freelance journalist covering religion and culture currently residing at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Worker in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was the Editor of Special Projects at FemCatholic from 2022 to 2024, where she led a team in reporting on maternity leave in Catholic dioceses across the U.S. She is an editor for Roundtable, a newsletter covering the Catholic Worker movement. Her first book is coming out in June with Liturgical Press.
