Today on the Catholic Morning Show
Dr. Luigi Russi – On the Thought of John Henry Newman
We’re joined by Dr. Luigi Russi, Assistant Professor of Education at the Catholic University of the West of France in Angers. A former Newman Scholar at the National Institute of Newman Studies in Pittsburgh (2023) and member of the Lyceum Institute, Dr. Russi brings his expertise to a rich conversation on the writings of St. John Henry Newman. Together with Bo and Elise, he explores the human longing for connection place — to family, to tradition, and ultimately to God — and how Newman’s insights continue to resonate today with conversations about ecology, environment, and place.
