Mackenzie is a national award-winning journalist, ghostwriter, and owner of StoryStruck Marketing. She offers book outlining workshops for aspiring memoir and nonfiction authors as well as full-service ghostwriting for aspiring nonfiction authors who lack the time or skill to craft their stories. She now lives in West Des Moines, Iowa, with her husband, their two boys, and their dog, Maddie. She enjoys volunteering as a youth group leader, gardening, and baking bread.
