Hosts Nicole Franklin and Bryant Monteilh remember American jazz singer Sarah Lois Vaughan. She was nicknamed "Sassy" and "The Divine One” and won four Grammy Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Born in Newark, NJ, Vaughan began her solo career in 1945 by freelancing on 52nd Street in New York City at the Three Deuces, the Famous Door, the Downbeat, and the Onyx Club.
