This was the first record recorded without Jeff Hanneman, their long time guitarist and songwriter, who passed away in 2013. With Gary Holt (on guitars) and Paul Bostaph (drums), this was also Slayer's first record in 29 years without the involvement of Rick Rubin and American Recordings. We contextualize the record and it's relationship tp Metallica, listen together with running commentary, answer fan mail and talk a little about the future of Metal Up Your Podcast. Enjoy!
