When my case against New York City & the NYPD was dismissed, it left a void in terms of the closure I was seeking from the entire subway incident. Over the years, motivational speaking is something I've thought long & hard about. Last Tuesday, I was invited by former Islanders defenseman & current Orlando Solar Bears GM & Head Coach Matt Carkner to speak with the team about my story. My hope is that this is the first, but certainly not the last time I'm able to address a group of people with the hopes of educating & inspiring them to keep fighting, regardless of the circumstances & regardless of the odds stacked against them.
