The Texas Longhorns now have their replacement for Shaka Smart in place. According to multiple reports athletic director Chris Del Conte has coaxed Chris Beard out of Texas Tech to come to Austin. Beard has elevated the Texas Tech program to an annual contender with trips to the Elite Eight and a National Championship appearance during his time in Lubbock. He will now be tasked with taking Texas back to the top.
