A little bit of FAU Basketball to wade into! Florida Atlantic has a new (but now unfamilar) assistant coach on John Jakus' staff! Ken takes a quick look at Demond Parker and describes the positivity that surrounds the decision. In addition, with Boston College coming to the Elly to tip-off the '25-'26 FAU Basketball season, Ken LaVicka goes in-depth into what it means from a historical perspective and re-lives other high-major visits to Boca. Also, a look back at the all-time hoops series between FAU & BC. Plus, Ken re-litigates the decision to lift the 2023 Final Four banner at Midnight Madness instead of the '23 home opener in light of the NHL's decision to have the Panthers raise their Stanley Cup banner at 5p on a weekday. In another wild turn of events, Conference USA is shedding more teams. It's hardly recognizable to the league FAU was a part of. Ken proposes a team that the AAC may want to look at and laments the current state of FIU, who appears to be just existing. Finally, Ken tries to prepare FAU Football fans for what will likely be a relatively rocky preseason prediction period and explains why it doesn't matter in the slightest.
