Making a Scene Presents an Interview with Sarah Pierce
Sarah Pierce, the daughter of a cowboy, raised in a family of cattlemen, was born in Rockford, Illinois. The main ranch, Woodlawn Farm, was in Creston, Illinois. Sarah's family raised Angus cattle and built the herd around a bull named Wellington. That bull won Grand Champion at The Chicago World Fair in 1893. The line continues today.
