Mississippi State ended a fast two-week coaching search with Jeff Lebby selected to take charge of Bulldog football. One of college football's bright offensive minds Lebby has put up points and won games at Baylor, Central Florida, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma. Now he makes the move up to head coach for the first time, and takes over a program in need of stability after repeated changes at the top. Lebby's first orders of business are both getting a read on the 2024 Bulldog roster before the NCAA transfer portal opens; and putting together an assistant staff asap with December signing period coming up fast.
