Alabama week has come early for Mississippi State this year. The SEC's nearest neighbors kick off at 8:00 for the final league broadcast slot. The Bulldogs (2-2) have a pair of league losses already before taking on the 11th-ranked Crimson Tide. State's passing game took off last weekend with deep throws and big hits not seen in years. But the ground game was stuffed and turnovers gave South Carolina enough margin. The Bulldog defense has taken consecutive batterings and injuries are adding up on the front line. Alabama's mobile quarterback will be hard enough to contain before a porous secondary breaks down again. Coach Zach Arnett is pushing home fans to turn out for both game day on campus and game time in Davis Wade Stadium.
