The college transfer portal has closed and while North Carolina’s coaching staff remains diligent in mining that portal for experienced talent, high school recruiting is the focus of this week’s Inside Carolina Noon Dish with expert Don Callahan and host Tommy Ashley. Official visit season ramps up in the coming weeks with the month of June being a hectic time around the Kenan Football Center and the program with the large number of visits from current commits and recruiting targets. Callahan and Ashley discuss that and the arrival of Callahan’s first look at the 2026 recruiting class and the tiers of talent associated with a deep in-state talent pool.
