As improbable as it appeared early in the second half, the North Carolina Tar Heels totally flipped the script on the Dayton Flyers, turning a 21 point deficit into a 92-90 win in the first round of the Maui Invitational. Seth Trimble’s 27 along with RJ Davis’s 30 pulled the Heels off the mat and on to the semifinals where the Heels will face Auburn on Tuesday night. Rob Harrington joins host Tommy Ashley for the Inside Carolina Postgame show to highlight the reasons behind the comeback win and how the Heels can have success going forward.
