Any game against Tony Bennett’s Virginia team is a slog. Save for Carolina’s destruction of the Hoos in Chapel Hill in the regular season, these games are a grind. Thursday night’s quarterfinal matchup was no different if you discount the final score. For the Tar Heels, defense ruled the night and Brady Manek had a first half to remember outscoring Virginia by himself as the Heels rolled to a 63-43 win in the ACC Tournament Quarterfinals. Dewey Burke joins Host Tommy Ashley to break down the win and look ahead to Friday night’s matchup against the Virginia Tech Hokies.
