Description

The opponent changes but the story remains the same for North Carolina as Hubert Davis’s team goes ice cold down the stretch in Pittsburgh, losing 73-65 to the Panthers. Carolina led by 10 late in the first half before two RJ Davis turnovers aided Pitt’s 8-0 to cut the lead to two at the break. The Tar Heels lead by seven and twice by four in the second half and took a one point lead, 65-64, with 3:21 on an Elliot Cadeau layup. It would be the final points of the game for the Heels as the Panthers closed the win with a 9-0 run. Inside Carolina’s Sherrell McMillan and host Tommy Ashley break down the familiar looking loss.
