Cecily Hennigan is pursuing God like crazy, and it’s so encouraging to see! You may remember Cecily from a viral video singing in the McDonald’s drive-thru or from her time on Team Blake on NBC’s The Voice. On today’s episode, Cecily talks about the prayer she prayed the night before the Battle Rounds: ‘Lord, if you would take all of this from me so that I could know you, have it.’ And it all ended the next day. She says she’s seen everything the world could want to give her – money, social media followers – and none of it was satisfying. But now she’s creating music with a right view of her identity as a creative. And friend, Your Creator God is still creating beauty in you, even in the midst of your pain.
