Description

This week: we dive deeper into Judge Amy Berman Jackson’s response to DoJ’s motion to stay in the CREW/Barr Memo case; Kleinhendler tees up some pretty weak arguments in front of US District Court Judge Valerie E. Caproni and she walloped them; Biden announces his support for repealing the 2002 AUMF; Horowitz has been tapped to investigate the 2018 subpoena issued to Apple demanding information for phone numbers and email accounts - some of which belong to high profile Democrats like Swalwell and Schiff; plus we say “goodbye” to Trump holdover at DoJ John Demers who totally had nothing to do with that subpoena; “wish we never knew ya” to V.O.I.C.E.; and a hearty “hello” to Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson who was confirmed, 53-44, to the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
